Reasons For The Choice
We were looking for a protective packaging solution that could replace conventional plastic foams while maintaining high cushioning performance.
In many applications, especially for fragile or heavy products, sufficient shock absorption is essential to prevent damage during transport.
PaperFoam® offers strong cushioning capabilities while being recyclable with paper and based largely on renewable materials.
In this project, the objective was to develop a cushioning solution that delivers reliable protection while supporting more sustainable material choices. By using PaperFoam®, we created a cushion that combines excellent shock absorption with a smooth and refined surface finish. This approach not only protects the product effectively but also enhances the unboxing experience and enables brand differentiation through colour and design.
